Post Activity

After finishing the activity and the higher order thinking questions, students will have a good idea of the story. Replay the clip as many times as needed. For the assessment activity students will write a narrative from the point of view of one of the three characters in the film. The narrative can be as long as the teacher wishes. Encourage students to be creative and become the character in which perspective they choose to write from. 

For example: 

Hi there, my name is Timothy and you'll never believe what happened to me today. I was sitting at home on my couch when I realized that I was lonely. There was something missing in my life. "If only I had a pet I thought." Living in Alaska can be really boring and there isn't much to do here. I decided, "hey I think I'm gonna try and catch myself a little friend." So I put on my favorite blue hat with a carrot on it and my blue puffer vest, grabbed my backpack full of snacks and  went into the Alaskan woods and spotted a rabbit...
